Russia, U.S. Eagerly Await ‘Cold War Part 2: The Freezening’

moscow.jpg Moscow- Following an ABC interview with GOP Vice-Presidential candidate Governor Sarah Palin, Russian and American leaders are closer than ever to green-lighting a long-awaited sequel to “The Cold War”, entitled “Cold War Part 2: The Freezening.”

“I think everyone has been expecting a sequel to ‘The Cold War’ for many years,” said Russian Prime Minister Vladmir Putin. “We’ve been waiting for leadership capable creating sufficient tension for another installment in the series. Sarah Palin is the first public figure we’ve seen in a long time who could make this project move forward.”

The original “Cold War” was budgeted at $8,000,000,000,000 in nuclear weapons. The budget of “Cold War Part 2: The Freezening” could easily triple that figure.

Though it has been nearly twenty years since the end of the original “Cold War”, buzz has been strong for a sequel since the superpower’s recent conflict with Georgia. Pending the outcome of the Presidential elections in November, a sequel could be fast-tracked for release before the end of the year.

During an interview with Charles Gibson, Palin stated: “We’ve got to keep an eye on Russia” This is expected to be the poster tagline for “Cold War 2: The Freezening.”
