HBO’s True Blood Is Okay I Guess

So last night I watched the fourth episode of HBO’s “True Blood” and I have to say, it’s a pretty okay show, I guess. I mean, it isn’t great or anything. It’s definitely no Sopranos or Six Feet Under, but I think I’ll probably stick with it, at least for a few more weeks.

There sure is a lot of fucking, though. Man, everybody on that show fucks all the time. It’s crazy. I wish there was more vampire stuff, but with all the fucking, I don’t think there’s much room for it. It seems more like a show about weirdos that fuck each other than anything.

Again, the show isn’t great, but it’s good enough that I’ll still DVR it every week. Sometimes I might be doing work on my laptop while it’s on, and I won’t give it my full 100% attention, but it’ll still be on in the background and I’ll be able to hear what’s going on. Like, if there’s a bad-ass vampire fight, I’ll look up from my computer and check it out. Or if I miss it, I can rewind it because I have it on DVR and DVR is awesome.

Remember when we didn’t have DVRs? They haven’t been around for THAT long. Same with iPods. It’s crazy that just like ten years ago, iPods didn’t exist. I don’t know what I would do without my iPod. I listen to it all the time. I’m a big music fan. Doesn’t matter what kind, either. I like everything. I know that people always say that, but I really mean ‘

Wow, I ‘m really going off on a tangent. Want to know why? Because HBO’s “True Blood” isn’t really that interesting to talk about. It’s just okay. Maybe it’ll get better. I can HOPE, right?
