President Obama addressed the nation this week to give his thoughts on the recent beheading of American photojournalist James Foley by the terrorist group ISIL. While Obama’s speech was filled with anger towards the horrible acts this extremest group has been committing, here is Obama’s first draft of the speech which is filled with even more rage than the version he ultimately went with.
