Legal television shows like Franklin & Bash wouldn’t be here without a long legacy of TV lawyer trailblazers that don’t play by the book. Perry Mason, Matlock, and LA Law were just the beginning. In the 90’s, law shows exploded thanks to big time hits like Law & Order, Ally McBeal, and The Practice. Their success pushed network executives to develop more legal shows than ever and the results were… less than stellar. Here’s a sampling of 90’s legal shows that never made it on the air.
