Specifically, you might be told you’re getting a Wild Pink Gulf Coast Shrimp when in reality you’re getting an inferior quality imported farm raised shrimp. Oral arguments in the latest same-sex marriage Supreme Court case begin this week. Same-sex marriage is now legal in 36 states, due to the previous 2014 Supreme Court case Windsor v. United States, in which the federal Defense of Marriage Act was invalidated. That case repealed the ban on the federal level, but left things ambiguous on the state level. The constitutionality of state bans is what the Supreme Court will be taking up this week in the Obergefell v. Hodges case.
