There's something so enjoyable about a comedy legend just appearing on a late-night talk show amongst the parade of acts there to promote their latest romcom. Though I think he's there plugging his new album. Probably. That seems like a reasonable thought. But as far as I'm concerned he's there plugging being Steve Martin, which is pretty much the best thing to plug.
