The MQ-1 predator drone is manufactured for the United States Air Force and CIA by defense contractor General Atomics. Though their covert nature makes exact figures hard to come by, it is estimated that since 2001 the U.S. has conducted thousands of drone strikes resulting in over 5,000 deaths in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Libya, and Iraq (source).
