I've got an idea for a movie that is an absolute, sure-fire blockbuster. Remember The Lone Ranger?

Was he one of the Power Rangers? If so that was a little before my time, sorry ‘

No, better. It was a radio western from 1933 which became a black and white TV show in 1949. We should make a movie of that NOW!

I'm sold! Remakes are always a goldmine. How's 200 million to start?

Better make it 250 just in case (not like it matters, right? This project is destined to succeed) Anyway, I was thinking it would star Armie Hammer.

Not familiar with his film work but love his baking soda.

Looping in Jerry.

Armie Hammer played the twins in The Social Network and his name was ranked “coolest sounding” by a focus group of 4-year-old boys. The guy prints money. Hey Jerry.

And we definitely want that youth demographic. Just spitballing here but maybe we get his twin from The Social Network in there and have 2 Lone Rangers?

Hey guys. That makes total sense. Might work better for one of the many lucrative sequels tho.

CCing Verbinski.

Love the baking soda guy but would we also need a bigger name in there for the Tonto character? Maybe a Kevin James type? People love fat white guys almost as much as they love remakes.

Something about a fat Native American just doesn't seem believable to me. Love the idea of using a white person though.

How about Johnny Depp? His wacky characters never grow tiresome.

Great, Johnny Depp's face could really sell a film like this. Can we completely cover it up with makeup?

Done. Sorry for late reply, gang. Was ordering like 40 motorcycles in anticipation of all the money this movie is definitely going to rake in. Think we can get a convoluted new origin story in there?

Good call. People are gonna want to know how this character they're vaguely familiar with came to be our new version of who he supposedly always was. Also let's put a bird on Tonto's head.
