Dreamers
With the Space Shuttle program drawing to an end I thought back to a time when those of us in our forties and older didn’t have very much more than our dreams to get us by. I hate to sound like an old fart but there is a lot to be said about not having prepackaged imagination on demand in 3D 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Part of the fun of being a kid was imagining that the future was a magical place where anyone could be anything and although it is still the same for a lot of todays youth there are a lot more who are disillusioned far to early in life before they even get a chance.
