Everyone on Facebook is Worried About Steven Spielberg Killing Dinosaurs

Recently a post on Jay Branscomb’s Facebook page went viral when he shared this 20-year-old photo of Steven Spielberg on the set of Jurassic Park. Under the photo Branscomb sarcastically included the caption,

‘Disgraceful photo of recreational hunter happily posing next to a Triceratops he just slaughtered. Please share so the world can name and shame this despicable man.”

These words generated a bit of confusion in the Facebook community. Buzzfeed collected some of the comments from the most outraged users, who demanded an end to the despicable director’s recreational poaching habits.

Though much of these comments were fun to read, what’s more is the people who responded to some of them ‘some of which must have been playing along with Branscomb’s sarcasm ‘reassuring them that this was just a photo from a movie set.

But some of the people correcting other users just got plain confused:

All in all it made for an interesting bit of Internet.
