Bill Murray Checked Tickets at a Baseball Game Because He Owns the Team So He Can Do That

Bill Murray is a co-owner of minor league baseball team the St. Paul Saints. Recently, for the team’s last game of the season and last time playing at St. Paul’s Midway Stadium, Murray stood by the gate to scan everyone’s tickets, which absolutely sounds like something Murray would do.

Murray also participated in the first pitch, but turned the tables by opting to catch it and then throw it out to a lucky fan. When you are a beloved comedian and you co-own a baseball team, you can do things like this, too.
