Recently The Intercept published a piece based on leaks from Edward Snowden that showed the National Security Agency has been secretly developing a Google-like search engine that can be used to filter through the 850 billion records of phone calls, emails, cellphone locations, and internet chats they have collected on suspected terrorists and innocent Americans caught up in their information drag nets.
