Malala Yousafzai Wins Nobel Peace Prize, Probably in All AP Classes Too

Remember, there’s no timetable for when you have to win your Nobel Peace Prize. But Malala just did it at age 17. So ‘just saying.

17-year-old Malala Yousafzai became the youngest person in history today to win the Nobel Peace Prize. So get ready for an email from your mom reminding you that you, too, could probably have a Nobel Prize one of these days if you’d just apply yourself.

Malala, who split the award with fellow activist and overachiever Kailash Satyarthi, is an activist for children’s rights. Two years ago she was shot in the head by the Taliban, an age when your biggest concern was callbacks for the spring musical.
