VIDEO: The Sorkin Sketch
Earlier this week, Mark Zuckerburg revealed that he found Aaron Sorkin ‘s The Social Network ‘very hurtful”. Sorkin responded, ‘I get it completely. I know that I wouldn ‘t want a movie made about the things I did when I was 19 years old.” While that movie has yet to be made, a whole bunch of sketches parodyingSorkin ‘s work have been. 30 Rock, MadTV, and Inside Amy Schumer have all lampooned Sorkin ‘s self-righteous speeches, walk and talks, and other Sorknisms.
Last night, Late Night with Seth Meyers aired The Sorkin Sketch, a parody that is both a deconstruction of Sorkin ‘s work and Sorkin parodies themselves. Last week many declared Too Many Cooks the be-all and end-all of 80 ‘s sitcom intro parodies. The same could be said of The Sorkin Sketch and Sorkin parodies.
