Stephen Fry Announces Marriage To Youngster Via Tweet

Stephen Fry is a 57 year old man who also happens to be a famous British comedian and actor (A Bit of Fry and Laurie, The Hobbit, Bones). And he announced today that he is engaged to wed his 27 year old partner, Elliott Spencer, with this tweet:

As I see it, a 30 year age gap between spouses is not that big of a deal. Love works in all sorts of ways, people. But what a way to announce the wedding! ‘A certain cat”! ‘A certain bag”! I love it so much I reached out to Mr. Fry and his assistant sent me over all the tweet drafts he made before deciding on the tweet above. Check ’em out:
