Recent legislation in Missouri and other states has placed limits on what recipients of electronic benefit cards (EBT), or food stamps, are allowed to purchase, such as prohibiting the purchase of items like steak or seafood. With the so called “surf and turf” law in mind, we hit the streets to ask: what food should poor people be allowed to eat?
