Enter Lupita, a duck with sex organs so labyrinthine, scientists at Columbia University are still trying to create a comprehensive 3D model of her reproductive system. Following some recent setbacks, researchers are increasingly pessimistic they will be able to fully explore Lupita ‘s vagina within the relatively limited 20-year lifespan of a duck.
