Upload and Optimize Profile Photo

The profile photo is your headshot that appears on your channel homepage. It is also used for credits and other references to your channel.

Adding a profile photo

On the Channel Overview page, click ‘Customize channel photos ‘.

Click ‘Pick profile photo ‘.

The profile photo should be a square. If it is longer on any side it will be cropped. In other words, we will not letterbox or pillar box (black bars) the image. The recommended resolution is 600 x 600.

Remember to click ‘Update channel photos ‘ after you are done!
