Watch T.J. Miller’s Off The Cuff Acceptance Speech For His Critics’ Choice Award

Yesterday at the Critics ‘ Choice Awards, T.J. Miller took home the ‘crystal thing” (his words) for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Silicon Valley. To accept the award, Miller gave a speech that had just enough stellar moments in it that you would think it had been rehearsed, if not for the fact that he makes it pretty clear that it wasn ‘t rehearsed. You ‘d also think it ‘d be hard to follow your own self after starting an acceptance speech with the perfect line, ‘I thought I was gonna lose so I ate a lot,” but he manages to do that, too. Really, this just goes to show you shouldn ‘t be thinking!
