The 5 Best WebMD Facebook Comments of the Week

Each week, we ‘ll be taking a deep dive into the most confusing place on the internet: the Facebook wall of medical advice website WebMD. Is WebMD ‘s wall a place to get a diagnosis? Is it a place to share photos of your medical emergency? Is it a place to show a website with a profile on a different website a photo of a boat for no reason? The answer, across the board, is no. But that doesn ‘t stop these people. Let ‘s check out this week ‘s top crop of comments.

So I ‘m going to go out on a limb and say you meant borderline personality disorder, Cindy. While serious, this disorder isn ‘t likely to cause someone to think a Facebook wall is a search bar. That one ‘s just on you.

Listen, I ‘m not here to just nitpick on people ‘s spelling errors. But I ‘m seriously holding out hope that the mistake here wasn ‘t believe vs. belief, but instead have vs half. That sentence is way more intriguing that way. Oh, and while we ‘re discussing, why did you tell WebMD this?

This guy is definitely a troll. There ‘s just no way. But the mental image of him searching through his son ‘s feces for an ice cube for weeks on end is too funny to pass up on sharing. Troll or (please God) not, keep up the good work, Al.

This comment reminds me of the first time you learn a new language and find out that the sentence structure is completely different. I ‘ve done the heavy lifting here for translation: ‘Liver cleans blood. Good job! ‘
But we ‘re not done. This opens a whole new can of worms. What was the purpose of this comment? Do you think WebMD is a real person? Possibly a doctor who is heading into surgery and might be able to deliver your message to someone ‘s liver? How do you think this all works here, Pam?

I ‘m going to Google this for you Sonnette, like you probably should have done.

Hmmm ‘ OK, looks like you made this word up. But Google has your back with that ‘Did you mean ‘ ‘ feature. Let ‘s check out verticulitis.

Oops. Looks like you ‘re full of shit. Sorry, Sonnette.
