Ellen DeGeneres Is Returning To Stand-Up


She ‘s dazzled and entertained us as the host of her eponymous talk show since 2003, and from 1994 to 1998 she starred in a sitcom which also bore her name. She ‘s the voice of beloved (and scatterbrained) fish Dory in Pixar ‘s 2003 hit film Finding Nemo, and has hosted the Grammy ‘s, the Emmy ‘s, AND the Academy Awards. ELLEN DEGENERES IS RETURNING TO STAND-UP

YUP, YOU READ THAT RIGHT

After 15 long years of totally crushing it in various other parts of the entertainment industry, Ellen is coming back with an all-new stand-up comedy special. The special, which will be released on Netflix on December 18, is called Relatable, a title which is self aware and perfectly fitting. Instead of shying away from the fact she ‘s been gone from the stand-up stage for a long time, she ‘s being about as on-the-nose and ironic as she could be, and we love that confidence.


Obviously, we ‘re not the only ones who are stoked about the news of her comedy comeback
