Parks and Rec Reunion Coming This Spring

If you ‘re not familiar with NBC ‘s Parks and Rec you are SERIOUSLY late to the party.
The hit mockumentary style sitcom follows the Parks Department employees of Pawnee, Indiana. Namely, dedicated public servant Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), whose greatest loves in life are the city of Pawnee, working in the government, and waffles from JJ ‘s Diner, and her boss Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman), a libertarian who hates the government as much as he loves meat and freedom (and, funnily enough, is actually based on a real government employee).
Parks aired from 2009 to 2015, which was bittersweet – 7 seasons was few enough that the show didn ‘t lose steam or start to decline in quality, but that also meant that fans of the show were left wanting more.
On that note, I ‘ve got some good news.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the show ‘s launch, the cast of Parks and Recreation along with creator Mike Schur will be reuniting at the 2019 PaleyFest in Los Angeles.
Although the former Pawnee Parks Department employees have remained friends and often get together for such events as Galentine ‘s Day, this is the first time they ‘ll be together in a public forum, erm, I mean panel, since the series ended.
PaleyFest LA is going down on March 15 to March 24 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. There ‘s more panels to be announced in January, but you should get your tickets now because they ‘re definitely not going to last – TREAT YO SELF.
If you ‘re unable to head to Hollywood for the event, you can always revisit Pawnee on Netflix
