Usually when a label or a production company or even a band decides to drop a teaser in anticipation for a new product or album, it is exactly that ‘ a teaser. Something like an ambiguous photo or a string of emojis in a tweet for the reader to try and decode, something that alludes to their upcoming announcement in order to build hype but doesn ‘t straight up spell it out, because, well, that kind of ruins the point.

Clearly this is an idea that French luxury fashion company Givenchy didn ‘t really grasp, when they tweeted this 7-second-long video featuring, uh, the most recognizable silhouette of the last few years.
