Baton Twirling Is My Favorite Sport and Here ‘s Why

I ‘m a baton twirler through and through. It is not only my passion but also my favorite sport.

Some people might think that baton twirling is just moving a piece of metal through the air willy-nilly. But it isn ‘t! It is a choreographed artistry.

And the costumes! They ‘re one of the most wonderful parts about twirling. To this day, turquoise is my favorite color.

Well, one parade went terribly wrong and I lost control of my baton. I twirled it so high that it spun out of control. Twirler lore states that if a baton hits the ground, it causes seven years of bad luck, so I was terrified.

Thankfully, the baton landed in Brian Hooper ‘s trumpet and I was saved from impending doom. What a time in my life! Hope you enjoy this punch and have a great Fourth of July!
