Ellpetha and Camilo’s friend “Addy” is on a crime spree, stealing and taxidermying neighborhood pets. She steals their beloved pet, Pepino, Ellpetha and Camilo are forced to travel cross country and scour the desert to find him but discover a land of mystery and hallucinations instead.
Inspired by the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, the Bean Bucket Challenge is here to raise awareness about an important issue in the Mexican Community.
After rescuing their pet Garbage Retriever Pepino from the trash, Ellpetha and Camilo take him for a walk around the East Village to make things right, but are interrupted by Mayor Bloomberg’s ban on sugary beverages/smoking in public parks and by another one of Camilo’s failed romances…
Follow Ellpetha and Camilo on the mean streets of the East Village where one man’s lunch is another man’s baby… or something like that.
