Real villains are among us, and real heroes are within us. It ‘s a mantra I wake up and repeat to myself every day when I ‘m walking my chihuahua, and this makes me feel good. But I happen to know that the mysterious Brick Tamland, a man who ‘s actual date of human birth remains unconfirmed to this day, never needs to remind himself of these words. He simply lives these words. And that makes me feel fantastic.
Maybe we ‘re biased here at Funny Or Die, or maybe Steve Carrell is just brilliantly funny, but I would love to see a superhero movie with Brick Tamland. How do we know he ‘s NOT superhero? He ‘s so unassuming he actually would be the right persona for a supernaturally strong and powerful protector of humanity. According to him, “People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks. ‘ It ‘s the perfect cover for a man who can also ride a bear and kill a man with a trident.
